I am excited to share a new preprint examining reproducibility in Management Science. This study evaluates nearly 500 articles before and after Management Science’s 2019 Data and Code Disclosure policy. I have contributed to the preprint as part of the Management Science Reproducibility Collaboration.
Highlights:
- Over 95% reproducibility for articles with accessible data under the new policy.
- Overall, 68% of articles in the sample were reproducible.
- Prior to the policy, only 55% of voluntarily provided materials were reproducible.
These findings emphasize the importance of journal disclosure policies in enhancing scientific research integrity.
