Special Track on Complexity in Organization, Management, and Economics  

We invite you to submit a paper to the Special Track on Complexity in Organization, Management, and Economics at the Social Simulation Conference 2025 on August 24–29, 2025 in Delft, The Netherlands

  • Contemporary challenges in management and organizational science (e.g., organizational resilience, digital twins, discrimination, subjective performance evaluation).
  • Agent-based models for sustainable transitions in organization, management, and economics.
  • Microeconomic ABMs: Market structure formation and the role of ABM in game theory.
  • Macroeconomic ABMs: Economic crises, growth patterns, and social dynamics influenced by self-fulfilling prophecies, business cycles, and climate change.
  • Modeling human behavior, group decision-making, and collective intelligence.
  • Empirical validation challenges for agent-based models in organization, management, and economics.
  • Hybrid methodologies: Integrating ABM with other modeling approaches.
  • Ensuring transparency and reproducibility in ABM research.
  • Innovative applications and novel methodological advancements in ABM.
