This&nbsp;<strong>4-year funded (75% employment) or 3-year funded (100% employment<\/strong>) position is part of the University&#8217;s Ada Lovelace programme, promoting interdisciplinary research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The selected candidate will be an integral part of an ongoing&nbsp;<strong>interdisciplinary research project<\/strong>&nbsp;focusing on the&nbsp;<strong>long-term effects of recommender systems<\/strong>. The research delves into the impact of personalized recommendations on business value and user satisfaction across various online platforms. Employing an innovative simulation-based approach, the study aims to strike a balance between short-term revenue maximization and long-term customer retention.
